Tweet tweet little bird

Thanks to Fashonista I came across @NoBtotheS Twitter account and let me just say - it blows my mind.
Apparently the persona behing it is a New York fashion publicist that want to remain annonymous.
Well maybe she (he?) won't be spotted right away on the busy streest of NY, but  her (his?) post surely won't go unnoticed.

I am not that close to Fashion World to agree or disagree with presented point of view, however I find it really refreshing...and sometimes hilarious.

So please please tweet little bird, tweet...

When it's cold and winy outside

When it's cold and winy outside I just dream about staying in bed and watching tv series all day long...

But when it's friday and I still need to go to work I put this glamorous Sonia Rykiel sweater dress, paired with winter parka, boots and am ready to go.

Sonia Rykiel sweater dress,  Paul&Joe parka, Christian Louboutin boots; net-a-porter

But I will still crawl to bed as soon as the work day over : )

Have a warm weekend!

I am sorry , I don't like it

You might not like this post and may even say I have no taste in fashion, but I decided to stay true to myself and share my optinion with you.

I don't like Lanvin collection for H&M.
I am really, really sorry but I just don't.

The whole blogosphere, newspapers, fashion magazines was so excited about this collection, saying it's great, creative, amazing. I admit, I was taken over by this enthusiasm. I saw the collection preview and thought "not really my style, but great design and after all it's Elbaz!".

Last night I went to H&M here in Paris to check it out myself. First big suprise: you can still buy the whole collection. There were hundreds of dresses, coats, shoes just waiting for you to take them home. I remeber that you couldn't find M. Williamson pieces anywhere last year!
Second surprise: quality is bad! Materials used are not nice, not skin friendly, I have tried one dress and couldn't stand 5 seconds in it. I dare to say, regular H&M dress fits and feels better.

There you go, I've said it.

But I still adore Alber Elbaz. He is a great designer.
I just wish I could see more of  this in H&M collection:

Fashion baby

Ever since the launch of Gucci Children's Collection last weekend I can't stop thinking about all those little fashionistas. Can babies and kids really aknowlege the fact they are wearing haute couture or pret-à-porter? They probably don't even know what that means, right?

Or am I wrong? Maybe if you have parents that can afford to dress you in Gucci or Dior, you imidiately know the difference? And your first words are not "mummy" nor "dad" but rather "Kezno" and "more Dior please"?

Do you remember?

I haven't been around for a while and I apologise.
Sometimes you need to take a break, you know?

Let's get back on our feets, shall we?

First look at this editorial in December HB . Is this a new "it" girl? New, aspiring model?

No dear, it's Crystal Renn.

Yes the one who - as Fashionista pointed it out  - "" has come to symbolize the debate over size in the fashion industry. She’s vocal about her struggles with anorexia, made headlines when she spoke out against being photoshopped into a slimmer version of herself, and has become something of a spokeswoman to promote acceptance at any size."

Well, she is certainly not against Photoshop now, is she? Also, it looks like she is starving.
I am sad about this, I liked Crystal size 10/12 much better. And I believed her pictures more.
