Beige in Corea

As it turns out beige and neutrals are also this fall "it" colors in Corea!
Reason good enough to show you good photo shoot with Magdalena Frackowiak for Corean Vogue cover and editorial.

Caramel and beige for sunny autumn days and black and wite for snowy and cold winter.
Perfect example on how background colors and lighting manipuluate your mood and blood temperature.
Nedless to say how pretty and strong Magda is on those picts.

Are you kidding me?

So remember the Vouge France "Festin" editorial shoot by Terry Richardson?

Terry also shoot November Harper's Bazzar cover and editorial with my belowed Christina Hendricks. And guess what? She is eating too! But this time it's not meat, it's jewelery.

Christina Hendricks by Terry Richardson

It must be a new coming trend by Terry...make models eat someting during the shoot...anything will do, really. What is next? Shoes? Bags? Little kittens?

Anyways...Interview is really good, other pictures as well. Just this one bothers me in particular.

I cant' say no

Are cookies  and chocolat fashion and style?

I am saying yes to the concept! This week I am obessing over my new finding - Petits carrés - from Michel&Augustin. Yuummmyyy!!! And perfect for this cold and rainng weather Paris is serving us this October! Basicaly it's cookie filled with chocolat and caramel with a bit of salt. It gives you this yummy sucre-salé taste that we love so much.

Calories imput is acceptable. Besides, who cares! It's proven that chocolate is healthy! : )

Have a great weekend!

Not every change is good

You have probably heard that Gap has recently changed it's logo.

Oh, you haven't? It's because the company is trying to hide this fact showing community that they are in fact ashamed of the change. Go figure. Logo, as highly recognizable as GAP logo was, is the biggest company value. You don't change it for no reason. And does it have to be helvetica?

It's already popping from every corner!

Why so obvious?

I am well aware that this photo shoot is already all over the Internet.
It's not an actualite and I am sorry for bringing this up so late...I just couldn't resist adding my own comment.

Today's subject: Crystall Renn for Vouge Paris, october 2010.
Editorial is called "Festin"
Styled by Carine Roitfeld
Shoot by Terry Richardson

I believe the reason behind this shoot was showing high fashion jewelery and the new fashion style for winter - sweaters. Then someone called Crystal Renn and proposed her a spread in French Vouge. She said "yes", of course! It's Vouge after all. Once Crystall Renn name came up associating it with food was an obvious choice. Too obvious maybe?

Fashion industry calls Renn a plus size fashion model. This is a joke since the girl is like size 10 or 12 ( 38/40 in Europe). But we have to forgive fashion industry for this, they are sometimes too starve to think straight. Renn is gorgeous. This photo shoot is not. Food is disgusting, make up vulgar and for most of the time Renn looks like she is about to throw up.

This editorial could be high fashion if it's wasn't so obviously ugly.
At least it makes people talk about it. Was that the point, Carine?

Cool Granny

I was always into theory that all Grannies are cool. Sometimes they just hide it to be seen as mautre and full of life experience and knowlege. Girls will stay girls at heart.

Sacha Goldenberg proves my convictions right. His pieces collected in a photo album "Mamika" are fabulous!

Sacha Goldenberg MAMIKA

There is a love story behind them, too. Love between grandson to his grand mother who was slowly loosing fight with depresion. Instead of crying and saying goodbyes Sacha decided to show his love that life can be fun no matter the age. As long as you stay optimistic and you don't take yourself too seriously, life continues to be a great fun ride.

If you're in Paris, go and see Sacha Goldenberg photo exhibition : Wanted Gallery
